A Black Mothers Pain
A black mothers pain some will not understand “adding insult to injury” is the definition. A black mothers pain some will not understand, I can imagine that it sounds like “don’t shoot”, “I can’t breathe”. Their tears became hers bullets pierced memories echo of their laugh, the Child's life steady fading.
A black mothers pain some will not understand, I can imagine that it tastes like history repeating itself, seeing your child recycled each week on the news. Each time just a different body, yet it’s the same hand that pulls the trigger, the same black blood spilled, the same loud cries heard.
The black mother cries a sorrowful melody, sons and daughters made into memories lost in the system or dead in their graves and over and over the same songs replays.
